Hedon has a variety of enemies with different properties, behaviors and attacks. They employ Doom's standard AI with occasional modifications (eg. the movement and agility improvements of the Golem).

Unlike Vanilla Doom, Hedon monsters can be damaged by hazards such as lava, take falling damage or interact with water sectors and drown in deep water. Some of them can be set on fire or frozen too.

Enemies also have certain traits involving their ability to see the player, operate objects (eg. opening doors) or fight with each other ("infighting"). They also have different resistances and vulnerabilities to damage types, as well as custom pain and death states when being damaged by a particular weapon.

Hedon does not have any proper hitscan attack based enemies.
